Javelin Launch: Bringing Javelin to Every State

Javelin Launch

Currently in the United States 24 out of 50 states have legalized javelin in high school. Over half the country is unable to throw javelin outside of private meets, usatf events, and some aau track and field. The image below depicts the states that javelin is legal in (yellow), and currently illegal (black).

The Mission

Getting javelin legalized can take shape a couple of different ways. Some states may choose to implement the event immediately, while others may slowly introduce over a period of a couples years. Dan is working on getting 3-5 people from each state where javelin is illegal to become representatives and help assemble all the necessary information and support.
